Having been a art teacher for people of all ages for more than  30 years, I have been given a profound love of all people, particularly children, and a calling to serve them with my talents, and my love of art and creativity.  So as I returned to more intentionally making portraits with  graphite and colored pencils, in addition to fabric, I wanted people, and especially children, to be my primary subjects for portraits. Most of the pieces below were commissions, but others are personal expressions of seeing the needs of people for truth and justice  worldwide.
