Don has always had an interest in the human figure.  Although art school in the 70’s was frustrating to someone who wanted to represent the human form realistically and classically, he never lost his passion for doing just that.  Over the years, this drive to show the beauty, both inside and outside, of his subjects has taken various forms. His primary media are oil painting,

charcoal drawing and photography.
